We’ve had a little talk about $100 bills on this blog, thanks to Jeff Francoeur. Well, if you’re a Kansas State fan, your team could turn that a lonely Franklin into $13,500 should Bill Snyder’s team improve on its 10-3 season from a year ago and win the BCS Championship.
Based on the June 11 numbers supplied by RJ Bell at Pregame.com, K-State is the sixth of six Big 12 teams given odds to win it all in 2012-13, coming in behind fellow Big 12 members Oklahoma (13:1), Texas (34:1), West Virginia (34:1), TCU (66:1) and Oklahoma State (120:1).
Also, K-State is a current 10:1 pick to win the Big 12 Championship and a point shy of being a three-touchdown favorite against the in-state rival Kansas Jayhawks.
The University of Southern California is the current favorite at 4.5:1. For a complete list of the top 30 schools’ odds, click here.
As for some of the bigger, specific K-State opponents, things shape up this way currently:
Miami at Kansas St. (-7)
Kansas St. (+14.5) at Oklahoma
Kansas at Kansas St. (-20)
Kansas St. (+7.5) at West Virginia
Oklahoma St. at Kansas St. (-1)
Kansas St. (+3.5) at TCU
Texas at Kansas St. (+3)
